No. We do not spar. Jonesy’s is built around boxing-based conditioning, functional strength, and movement-focused training without head contact.

Wear comfortable workout clothes, supportive training shoes, and bring water. If you already have gloves and hand wraps, bring them. If not, we can help guide you on what you need.

Plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. That gives us time to get you checked in, show you the space, and help you feel ready before class starts.

How Classes Work

Classes are coached with structure and purpose. Depending on the class type, you can expect:

  • Warm-up and movement prep
  • Boxing rounds built around combinations, rhythm, and footwork
  • Strength work using dumbbells, kettlebells, bands, and bodyweight
  • Movement, mobility, or conditioning work depending on the day

These are the three core class types at Jonesy’s:

  • BOX focuses on boxing conditioning, punch volume, cardio, and work capacity.
  • LIFT focuses on full-body functional strength, stability, and resilience.
  • MOVE focuses on rhythm, footwork, defense, mobility, and athletic movement.

Most people do well with two to three sessions per week. That is enough to build consistency, improve fitness, and recover well while learning the rhythm of training.
